The Logo of SCNP was created by professor Hans Ågren, University of Gothenburg:

• 'The SCNP logo intertwines a shadowed Greek Ψ (psi, symbolising the psyche) with a Φ (phi, symbolizing the fysis, or body). It was designed on my Mac in 1990 when I held the presidency of our College, at that time still named Skandinavisk Selskab for Psykofarmakologi. The yellow background was added later. Pondering over whether Ψ charges Φ, or Φ charges Ψ, is a focus for zen meditation.'
