I have first approached the field of Neuroscience during my master thesis in 2008, at the laboratory of Neuropsychophamarcology, University of Milan. Since then, I have started developing my skills as a preclinincal researcher in neuropsychiatric diseases, first with studies on the effects of antidepressant treatments on synaptic transmission, at the University of Milan, and afterwards and the University of Regensburg, Germany, with studies on the anxiolytic effects of central oxytocin.

At the moment, I am currently enrolled as a phd student at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. Main focus of the project are the effects of behavioural stress and antidepressant treatment on neocortical architecture, with a particular attention on glutamatergic transmission.
